Robert Kaplan Fed Speech

Robert Kaplan, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, signaled that he will again raise interest rates at a central bank policy meeting next month. Of course the decision will be through the discussion in depth and see some indicators of the economy in the United States (US).

Kaplan, who is a member of the Fed's decision-making committee this year, said he was increasingly aware of the risks posed by potential economic and financial imbalances. A number of risks must be pressured in such a way as to not have a negative effect on the economy.

The US unemployment rate dropped to 4.1 percent in October, reaching a fresh 17-year low. While private consumption expenditure indexes, an indicator of inflation favored by the Fed, rose just 1.6 percent in September, well short of the Fed's two percent target.
