Arsenal want to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Goncalo Guedes next summer as they look for replacements for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.Arsenal are facing up to the prospect of losing Sanchez and Ozil in 2018 after failing to reach an agreement with the pair.
Despite months of discussions, neither player has committed their future and both could leave for free transfers.
Arsene Wenger has tried to give a positive outlook on the situation but behind the scenes, there is an acknowledgment Sanchez and Ozil are likely to depart.
And according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are hopeful they can sign Guedes from PSG by taking advantage of their financial situation.
Guedes is currently on a season-long loan at Valencia where he has impressed alongside another loanee, Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira.
The report says PSG will need to offload players in the summer to meet UEFA’s demands.
